shadowartist's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End To A Losing Battle Oh, how I love this day almost more than life itself! This week was one of the worst weeks ever and I am so grateful to see that it is finally done! The weather is even perfect too! It's pretty gray out with clouds thickening by the minute. As a result, there is now only a mere glow upon the dark earth to remind us that it is still day. I'm not particularly looking forward to Halloween. I haven't really done anything for it since I was 7. Other than for the candy, I couldn't care-less if it was Halloween or not. Now, when Christmas is around the corner, you'll see a completely different attitude (hopefully). Today I spent my time at school with a new attitude on everything. After the promise I made to myself about not worrying about the male species, I just enjoyed the day for what it was. Then, something unbelievable and very coincidential happened... another girl likes Josh! He came up to his locker this morning, before 5th, and I muttered a "hey" as did he. Then suddenly, this preppy freshman cuts inbetween him and his locker to say, "HI Joooooosh!" I was about to be sick, and I could tell he was pretty nervous about the situation. He tried to walk away from her, or so it looked like, but she just followed him ALL THE WAY down to his g/f's locker (g/f included)!! It was hilarious! That freshman made a bee-line out of there after that! Oh well, he has enough problems to deal with now. He certainly doesn't need me to help! Last night, I was talking to my aunt on the phone. After we hung up, I walked out of my room, hung up the phone, walked back and stubbed my toe so bad!! I cracked the nail half-way down! Needless to say, I'm in a lot of pain. It's times when I can't feel anything but numbness that I start to worry. However, so far, the nail has remained steady. That is my reason for wearing shoes around the house! So yeah, everything bad just happened this week, so I'm hoping that means next week is going to be much better!
